Lump him in with Sasquatch, Chupacabra, and Loch Ness: I've read the first-hand accounts, seen the (mostly photo-shopped) pictures, but I'm still a skeptic. I'm not sure he really exists.
So, a few hours ago I landed in ABE. I asked the girl at the Dollar Rental counter: "Have you seen Liver?"
From the look she gave me, I'm quite sure she heard: "Can I eat your liver?"
Either way, she answered in the negative.
I'm going to try to interview some locals to get the lowdown on the neighborhood lore.
(Since Leonard Nimoy has turned to commercials to pay the rent, I'm reviving his old TV series. For those of you too young to remember, google it.)

Well, He exists.
Kirk, I didn't call him. I cheated and did a little recon in person since I had the aforementioned pics to go by. We ended up hanging out waaay past my bedtime, and I got schooled.
wow.
I'll post some more in the "How....." thread.

Too bad you didn't make it in time for his New Years party.

me too, Abby, although I was being rather "stream of consciousness", and the stream kept running dry.
If only I had a drink for everytime I said, "Where was I going with that....?"
Oh wait, I did.

Yeah, I felt all shiny and new for awhile there. It's probably a good thing he was the only one to witness it.

Damn!
You think you might be able to part with Richmond in May for LautrecFest?
DC Folks are well behaved.
From what I remember.

I'm thinking so. I'm going up to the exhibit in March for my b-day, but I'd head up there in May just to hang out and partake. Although now I'd feel somewhat inadequate toting my K53 and Montmartre along.

Never.
I've never tried K53 so it's something new for me.
And I like Montmartre.
Besides, I'm trying Fougerolles Blanche for the first time tonight.
Every time I tried to sample it at a Louchefest, someone sinked it before I got the chance. Or I was too drunk to find it.

This is really starting to shape up!
I might have to break out a little stash to bring with me,
I've got a 12 pack of Amstel light hidden around here somewhere.

I heard you look just like your avatar and you impressed him by using your prehensile toes to pour out your water. As chumminess grew to comraderie, he confided in you as to the accident of his birth and revealed his third nipple, which you genteelly declined to rub for luck. A rousing chorus was sung 'round the fire, though what the tune was neither can remember, and the dawn found the birth of the small miracle of ordinary human connection.
