I really hope to attend, but it will depend on a couple of things:
1) hubby liking his Xmas present (1 btl of UE68, 1btl UE Blanche). He's already VERY curious about this new, engrossing hobby of mine that I can only hint about but that has me laughing in the basement.
2) finances
Just out of curiousity, are there many of us near CO (other than Slake)? Could we have a "Tween Coasts" LoucheFest04? Anyone? (But then I'd miss the chance to meet Off. Jack & Rimbaud! Maybe not....)

As for the upcoming LCLF, it will be held on Saturday, April 17th, at a good friend of mine's house just north of Seattle (a fifteen minute car ride). As we get closer to the date I'll be making more information available. I would suggest that you get hotels/motels and such. Of course we expect all participants to stay as long as they want after drinking and pick a piece of couch or carpet to crash on. We plan on having a large BBQ, nothing fancy just burgers and such, maybe some potluck from local attendees. If you have any questions/concerns, please PM me.
Jack, can you make sure Winnie and Slake get the proper invites?

Dec 4 2003, 04:42 PM
You mean the "gathering" that will be held at The Cuff? They are the only two invited to that one. Oh, I forgot, I invited Opee to that, as well. I've asked "Big Roger" to greet them at the door.

I guess I should set aside some of that LCLF fund raiser money and order that "Olive Oil deal" from FSC. They'll be needing that.

They don't deserve olive oil. Sand has my vote.

I'll be driving up earlier in the week and taking my time getting there. Unfortunately the return trip will have to be a fast haul. It looks like I have to work on Tuesday, or blow off the run of the show.

Speaking of the LCLF, if you are planning on attending, please PM me so I can plan out the purchases necessary for foodstuffs (BBQ). Also, let me know if you plan on crashing the night and staying for breakfast (pancakes, sausage, eye-openers). It also might be helpful in making plans for getting my hands on some decent HG absinthe.

I will if I can get the time off work and school. I don't think it will be a problem though. Heck, I once drove from Portland to Lynwood in just over 2 hours. Although I don't think I'll be driving as fast the next time.
