NEWS: Alain Diable joins the World of Absinthe!

Hello Harry,

let me introduce myself, my name is Alain Diable!
Know as a frequent visitor of the Moulin Vert, a sexual dynamo, a promoter of all things bohemian, a hater of the bourgeoisie and an devoted ALANDIA Absintheur I just joined the World of Absinthe. You will get to know me better in the future. I´m the guy who checks out what is going on in the 19th century so that you can enjoy your Green Fairy the most original way. Sounds good..? Couldn´t be better for me, having fun and spreading the spirit of the Green Fairy! Every month I will share my secrets in this newsletter. I will present you the Absinthe of the Month and other things that keep the World of Absinthe moving. This month I have something very special to announce. The preview of my Absinthe Film "World of Absinthe" starring me and my best pal Toulouse Lautrec. The film will give you a nice insight of my life here on Monmartre. Check it out and also visit my website AlainDiable.de where you can find out some more details about my enigmatic character...

Did you like it? I hope so, and I´m also pretty sure that you will like our new Absinthe of the Month Extrait Kuebler 53. It is a typical Suisse styled Absinthe with the honey and flower aroma, that is so typical for an Absinthe, that uses only locally grown wormwood. And like every month it comes with the Spoon Antique, the spoon we use here in the Moulin Vert as well.

Au revoir mes amis,

This is to stupid for me to even try and figure out. It hurts my brain just to read the email.

This is easy to figure out. Alain Diable is the inventor of the finest absinthe made in the last hundred years...

Quantum Crime Busting

Under the heading of Prof. Philip Rank, an MIT research team has managed to couple quantum states of the space-time fabric to states of the past. In the experimental setup (as being published in the May 2006 issue of Physics Review Letters D, "Quantum State Superposition", Philip Rank et al. p. 98-105) the team has detected photonic events of past quantum states.

"Although we just have detected singular photons, we see no reason why the technique could not be scaled up.", says Prof. Rank. "By extending the area of superposition above a CCD (charge coupled device), we should be able to record images. But this is years away".

The idea is intriguing, a camera able to record past events. One of the areas that would benefit greatly of such an innovation would be crime labs. Brent Michaels, press officer of LAPD says "True or not, it would be the wet dream of any law enforcing officer".

Another intriguing application that also is touched upon in the article, is being able to look into the future. "Naturally, as we could superpose past states the question came up if we could superpose future states. We tried, but I can't say that we've had any true success. We're still analyzing those results" says Prof. Rank.

That's what's been missing! Why didn't I think off it before? I knew I wasn't hungry.

Same as today's century,
shysters, lies, feints-of-hand, herbalists.
It's all a crock o' xit.
A.B. Normal
Ah, yes, but what did trolls do before the Internet?
Grey Boy
Good question,
I was really bored.
