Best: A. Massage therapist. One of the best things about it was that I knew quite a few managers / owners of retaurants in Charleston and would trade out work for tabs. I ate very well for a few years. Then I burned out in the spa industry.
B. Mushroom delivery girl. I would box up orders from area restaurants and deliver them. The mushroom farm where I worked grew some and imported others. At the end of the day, I usually got to take home an assortment of Shiitakes, Chanterelles (in season), Portabellas, Oyster mushrooms, and others.
