I, and a few others, have done our best to educate any Modern Drunkards on absinthe.

But, here's the thing:
These people are drunks.
I'm a drunk, but I prefer to drink with a little pomp and circumstance.
If they're just looking to get drunk, I can't fault them their Czeckerlandsinthe, as it gives the required buzz.

They also unapologetically drink xit beer and bargain hooch.
And I have to respect that on some level.

If they come here, that's a different story, but on their turf, I just do my best to help.

It's expensive and it tastes like shit; if you don't like proper absinthe and want to get drunk, there are better alternatives than crappy absinthe.

They're idiots, or they needed the sponsoring money really badly.

They haven't been exposed to good absinthe but then again,
they aren't drinking it for the taste.

When you're in the US, all absinthe is expensive.

If I get a chance to meet the lovely Head Drunkard, I'll be sure to let him know.

Here's the basic rundown of the weekend.
We didn't do any of the Modern Drunkard stuff because they were too hungover to stick to the schedule of events. Go figure.

So I took the kids to Fremont St Saturday and the Strip today. As well as my bar. We'll discuss that later.

So, mostly, we gambled all our money away, drank a xitload of booze and had a grate time. Aside from the beatings.
