I've only had 8 of the above so I'm going to reserve my vote until I've had them all.
Of the 8 that I've had, I'll have to go with the Montmartre.

I recall having a little Vintage H at LCLF 05.
I liked it better than the vintage Edouard.
Still doesn't count, though.

There isn't a verte on the market that tastes balanced enough to me to call it my favorite, now that I've tasted some artisanals. There are still blanches I would point to as exemplars, but all the vertes have some unique flavor or piquancy that seems dominant or even out of whack.
I love many of them though, for a glass or two at a time. The Jade NO is my sentimental favorite. It's comfort food to me. Then the Ike. ( though the Ike blanche I'm strangely unfond of )

I've simply learned over the years that I'm more fond of blanches in general.
I find them cleaner and crisper.
So, any drinkable commercial verte is a feat in my book.

Lots of people are unfond of it, and I don't find it strange.
It's only strange because the Verte is so good - yes, even though it hasn't got the character of some HGs and is a bit idiosyncratic, it doesn't have many obvious flaws either,¹ and it's one of the rare ones with a round mouthfeel like a good HG.
I did hesitate, though - I almost ticked the VS65 box, but I didn't give in to the Wormwood Side of the Taste.

I'd agree with most of that, and have high hopes for a new crop of late spring commercial vertes.
Generally I prefer a nice verte over a blanche.

I could write you horribly condescending PMs and you wouldn't have the stamina to counter, but these PMs would tend to stick around until you're sober.

Another thing you would not want to happen is to have message notifications in your e-mail mailbox with titles that are somewhat embarrassing to explain to the Mrs. who's looking over your shoulder.
Until now, I didn't know the PM subject line was included in those notifications...

And now to get back on track, I'm glad nobody voted for the Doubs.
It was scored as better than the Jades and the Ike over at feeverte; I can understand why Absomphe excessively waxed lyrical, just like he did when the VdF came out, but Artemis (of all people) looked like he was on drugs when he wrote the review.
Perhaps there really is lots of t-jone in it.

I have yet to try it, but it does sound interesting. At least they had a better consultant than La Fee did. Or maybe they just listened better, I don't know.

Getting back to the Doubs, I'm sure it's one of the better oil mixes, but I doubt it's better than all the Jades and the Ike.
Artemis gave it 27/30 for aroma even though he said it was unusual and smelled

I'm not sure why I included Frankie Guy or the new Un Emile, other than there are not that many choices when it comes to Vertes. I'm not even sure I consider either of them to be a Verte. There sure are a lot more choices these days when it comes to choosing a Blanche.

Edouard has the most horrible funk. I can't stand that shit
N.O. just as a kind of rogue flavor to it. Of the two consequential releases I've tried, N.O. has siginificantly less Jade Funk than Edouard. I can't drink Edouard anymore.

Hah. Un Emile isn't a verte. Artemis was right it considering it a blanche with some sort of weird flaw. If they even attempted coloring it, they failed miserably.
