Yeah, I was pretty surprised about that myself.
It's no longer really a LoucheFest.
And if it's on the Strip, I'm no longer a host.
I'll show up if a bunch of people come to town to drink, but I'm gonna stick with my Lake Mead plan for a small group of Loungers who can make it sometime between Oct and Dec.
Thanks for reminding me of that...I was kinda drunk when I found that last night.

Make it after New Years and I might be able to make it. It's going to be hard enough to get the time off for Jackfest.

May 18 2006, 10:42 PM
Aw fuck it. I'm just gonna set this topic invisible.
I don't want to deal with PMs from people I don't like or don't know showing interest.
New Years will work, though.

May 18 2006, 11:26 PM
Um, no. You don't get to set my fucking topics as invisible.

Not you Stroller.
You've been to a fest.
And you're a Lounger.
I'm talking random people I've never heard of.
And TGO, I'd rather do both.
A bunch of people on the Strip might be fun.
But like I said, the houseboat thing would be limited.

What about 2 houseboats?

Two drunken houseboat operators that close in a lake?
The USSLL and the USSWS?
Don't think so.

Prezactly.
Without a Cros in attendance, any fear of a Lounge drowning has all but been removed. Let's not replace one possible means of tragedy with another.

Enough cross-forum jokes,
cut that shit out now.
Besides, Spaz can read here,
bash him over at WS for cool points. (where he can read and respond).

It would have been a good idea for someone to let me know that Spaz was overstepping his bounds; I could have stopped the shit before it happened. What the fuck am I, a mind reader?
The threads have been invisibled and I've dealt with the bubbly newbie.

Yeah, the spaz did such a fine performance of "Woe for Poor Me"
that most folks bought it without thinking about the price,
and forgot his standard one-note tune of "Moronic Malice."
People whose opinions actually mattered to me
were PMing to chastise me for being such a relentless bitch,
for "taking it too far."
Seems to me it was far enough and not a forum farther.

problem is...
often times the people in the right aren't as forthcumming about their side of the story due to the simple fact it's on a need-to-know basis.
so unfortunately, the didn't-need-to-know folks have only half the information to base their opinions.
propaganda works wonders.

A farmer who had gone into his field to mend a gap in one of his fences, found at his return the cradle in which he had left his only child asleep turned upside down, the clothes all torn and bloody, and his dog lying near it, besmeared also with blood. Thinking that the animal had destroyed his child, he instantly dashed out his brains with the hatchet in his hand. When turning up the cradle, he found his child unhurt, and an enormous serpent lying dead on the floor, killed by that faithful dog whose courage and fidelity in preserving the life of his son deserved another kind of reward.
