Did willfully exert her influence on a gentle starving person ( in Alaska of all places) to coerce him into making a beautiful website with commercial shopping cart capabilities and then refused to pay for it.
Willfully persuaded a gentle lady in France into distilling a custom batch of absinthe
and then, in a very confusing way, refused to pay for all of it, only took half of the custom order,
and refused to pay the prevailing euro to dollar price, which was different than when the deal began.
And lastly, she fucked me,
and I can never forgive that;
mainly because I love you
and every minute I spend
but mostly because I don't think I deserve that kind of treatment.

Sounds like mostly artists getting screwed.
All my life I've been screwed out of my time and effort, making artwork for people who later decided not to pay me for it, thinking that I wasn't really "out" anything, just some of my time and a few ounces of paint.

you stole my painting,

Thanks for the heads-up, Kirk. The last thing I need is some
deadbeat not honoring a deal they negotiated in the first place.

It is obvious from Betina’s lack of a credible defense, that she obviously ripped Kirk off. It amazes me that she would want to keep a pair of earrings that she acquired in such a shitty way. I also assume she is guilty of not paying her web designer and the mess at the distillery, since she didn’t see fit to answer.

It's low deed to take advantage of an artist.
I've wondered in the past whether the rumors
of unprincipled business practices were true.

Seems they are. I wonder why absinthe attracts so many slime-balls.

What is a dissatisfied party going to do?
Contact the Better Business Bureau?
All of our transactions — interpersonal and more formal —
are necessarily staked on a foundation of trust.
That's why it's such a pain in the balls
when someone comes into the community and betrays trust.
They take advantage of more than just one person.
They take advantage of the structure of the community.
It's a huge affront.
Any similar "alternative economies"
would deal with a charlatan in short order.
But this one is civilized and essentially law-abiding.
Such things cannot go on forever, though.
No matter how cagey and careful a person is,
he or she is likely to upset the wrong person eventually
if his or her dealings are not scrupulously fair.

This my very last reply.
I never agreed on a price with Kirk and immediately sent the earrings back.
I never agreed on a price with Alaska guy either.
I have never ordered any special absinthe made for me from anywhere. That accusation is totally bizarre.
Nobody has ever complained about my packing, shipping, or product. I guarantee everything. I have never ripped off a customer unlike Justin, Doc and every other American vendor along with some European ones, as well.
All of you can believe what you will. Those who know me and do business with me know that I am honorable.
I will no longer be posting on this forum.
