Nepenthes
Here is part of what I found today. It fills about a 4' x 6' area.
Nepenthes
This is the annex.
Nepenthes
And a selection of new stuff added to that from a couple of days ago.
Kirk
Are you sure that's A.A.?
It looks kinda leggy.
Nepenthes
There are only a few that were on the leggy side. They were also the largest, so they seem to stand out more.

It certainly smells and tastes like A.a.

Hey, if he's going up there to steal one of their jobs from the Evil Empire, so much the better.

So where were you this weekend?
Louched Liver
Sequestered.
He'll never come
LF clean.
Grey Boy
Oh, whatever,

Anyone heard of :

Agastache

The description sounds interesting.

Yes indeed. Mexican GIANT hyssop. I brought some over to Jack's .. it changed its fragrance once it dried. It went from fruity to green tea like when dried. I think it is interesting and it is edible. I have some left. I will report later.
Kirk
Green tea is not an absinthe flavor.
Off. Jack Batemaster
I'm not sure I absolutely agree with that...Veronica flowers (not that cunt stripper who "stiffed" me awhile back) have a "green tea" character.
TrainerAZ
Gotta watch out for them he-shes.

jaded prol
Damn inefficiency! I ordered some Roman Wormwood as a decorative shrub and they sent me AA instead!
Crosby
Richters?
jaded prol
Yep. The hyssop looks good though.
jaded prol
FroM Richters --

So they offer it on the site but send AA . . .

Arrrgh!
Crosby
Last year they had “catastrophic crop failure”, so no AP, but they wern't sending out sustiutes either. I was able to get it from them the year before that though.
Kirk
Prol, I'm bringing you A.p. in 2 weeks, don't worry about it.
Who else needs live plants?

These people have pontica: http://sandymushherbs.com/

Crosby
Welcome and thanks for the link. Introduce yourself and join the party.
Grey Boy
K is OK.
Though he should through out an intro so everyone knows who the fuck he is.
DrinkSlinger
Kirk,
It's amazing how those Pontica plants grow and grow and grow.

I've got the shit everywhere this year.
Next year will be even worse (better??)
Kirk
You brought those plants to A-town 3 years ago and gave them to me,
right after that it became nearly impossible to get them live until recently.
Your pontica is now all over the world, I sent anyone that asked for it a nice bunch of them. Several of our members have gotten some. I have transplanted it all over the county here and I started 2 more beds this year. I would like to see all the herbs we use growing profusely wherever I go.
Thanks D, and not only for the herbs, but for the kindness you extended from the very beginning.

My introduction:

I'm Kevangoh. I like to paint. I live in Japan, where absinthe is legal but still hard to find (though I figured out where to get Kubler here for $28 so I wont' bitch too much.) I also recently survived a scolding from the Japanese quarantine officer about how bad I was for trying to import herbs into Japan NONO.gif The stress of the situation cause me to have a sudden memory lapse and I could no longer speak or understand Japanese very well. basher.gif Mr. Quarantine man decided to let me off the hook this one time as he couldn't speak english and didn't want to deal with me anymore (it works well with speeding tickets too.) Thanks to the diligent efforts of a well known lounge member, the post man directly handed me the second package a week later containing more a.pontica which Mr. Quarantine man failed to notice. fuckyou.gif So I also now have a.Pontica growing outside, and it's doing well. smoke_black.gif
