I recently received a very generous and beautiful gift in the mail. Sadly, my pictures do not do it justice.

It looks like a shortest version of the Artemisia grille, very nice indeed !
I've seen that glass before
Crosby
Jun 22 2006, 11:08 PM

Yes you have.
The grille was patterned after a type of giant AA, I'll let Kirk fill in the details though.

You're right. Kirk brought a version of that grille to ThujoneTest and your pictures don't come close to doing it justice.

Jun 23 2006, 09:00 AM
That's the actual one I brought to the fest so it's been broke in.
It's taken straight from life although it is only the tip of a giant Artemisia absinthium variant called grossplatrigger. The grille represents an actual size portion that was less than %25 percent of the single leaf.
Thanks Cros!
I will be sending out this grille and another, slightly smaller one from the same plant to Oxygenee in the next day or two, they will be the most affordable of my grilles yet.

I wish.
It's usually hard to get the sugar to catch fire, but the superior ventilation of the Artemisia spoon turned the blaze into a serious problem within seconds.
