It is interesting how human intervention can alter animal society. Chimpanzees reared alongside humans will use imitative learning instead of emulative. Young Blackbirds can be fooled into thinking an experienced Blackbird is attacking a Honeyeater (when it is really attacking an owl, a threat to the Blackbird). The young Blackbird then attacks any Honeyeater (not a threat to the Blackbird) and spreads this meme to other Blackbirds. Chimpanzees can be taught to chip stone for tools, even to communicate through sign language and some spoken words.

What would happen if a dedicated group of people decided to radically alter animal society through the spread of human influenced memes?
