If you want' to sing, Sing. I wear hearing aids. Enunciate properly. Don't slaughter the language. Use proper verbs, nouns, adverbs, pronouns and sentence structure.

Sing the words so I can understand WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE SAYING!

{steps down from orange crate because I couldn't find a soap box}
greeneyes
I don't want to sing.

Jake E. Lee is as good as, if not better than Randy Rhodes

Only because Randy is dead. Nobody was better in his time. Maybe Jake's dead, too, I don't keep up with these things.

I'm hooked on Modest Mouse these days. It's like Shakespeare meets the Dead Milkmen, produced by George Martin on Absinthe.
Louched Liver
But good.

They were recently on Austin City Limits.
Nice set, butt as always
Too short
Nepenthes
The Ramones. Lots and lots of the Ramones.
absinthist
I am listening to silence,
gettin' the essence of it,
as long as I am listening,
the rest I don't give a xit. True bit.

The Ramones. Lots and lots of the Ramones.

Three years ago (plus a couple days) since we lost Johnny.

Who'da thunk there'd be more Beatles alive than Ramones?
Nepenthes
Sad, isn't it.
jaded prol
Having Flashbacks . . .
Louched Liver
oh boy
greeneyes
I crush on Lily Allen.
GreyBoy2
I must say,
I found that quite enjoyable.
Louched Liver
Lily Allen's a
hottie and she's
got quite the
"piss off" attitude.
Louched Liver
Which is hot.
greeneyes
Liver crushes on her, too.

QUOTE
Lily Allen was typically outspoken during her sets at this weekend’s V Festival calling American president George Bush a “F****** C***.”

Slamming George W is nothing new but after Lily was refused entry to the US last week it’s unlikely to help her case.

She carried on shooting herself in the foot on stage saying: “I’ve been banned from America. That’s nice. Oh well, that means I can’t go back there. Good.”

US Immigration Officials cancelled the LDN singer’s Visa after she was accused of kicking a photographer.
jaded prol
She's cool. They'll let her back in when the repugs are out.
Nepenthes
Don't count on it. David Brock, the leader of Hawkwind, still has a hard time getting in to the states because of a 1963 drug bust. Nothing like holding a grudge for 40+ years.
Nepenthes
Oh, and Lily is hot.
Louched Liver
I like her LDN video
more betterer than
the Alfie one.

It's here
in the Video section.
Le Gimp
Joan Baez, Diamonds and rust. She is a twit, but had a beautiful voice.

I miss the 70s.
Louched Liver
I say good riddance.
Le Gimp
Charlie Daniels Band - NightRides

Either you haven't been in Tallamahackee long enough or you've been there too long. A safe guess wood be the later.
Louchelooker
I was fit-xaced the other nite in town and went to this little hole in the wall bar in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood called the Midway Cafe.

Saw these guys...and it was fookin! awesome!!!!!!!!!

http://www.myspace.com/davesmithrebelcountry

I'm in both videos. In the top one I'm the black silhouette in front of the lead guitar. In the second one I'm the dork giving the bass player a beer where he actually drinks it whilst playing and not missing a beat.
Louched Liver
Kinda
Reverend Horton Heat
ish.
Louchelooker
Yeah man. They were awesome. I'm gonna go see 'em when they come back in Dec. Maybe the Pussy will go too. Maybe Dinky can make a trip down for that one as well. That would be kewl.
GreyBoy2
Hmm,
I likey.

As classic as it gets. Also check out Thelonious Monk Quartet with John Coltrane at Carnegie Hall.

Sunday is always
reggae day here.

Louched Liver
That sounds like
some bomb ass
jazz, fellas.
TheGreenOne
I likes reggae.
jaded prol
I like reggae too. Speaking of Monk, I really like Mysterioso. No dubbing in the studio, just the greats playin' it inside out live and having a great time -- no jive.
Louched Liver
I can't find a
good online
jazz station.

It's all that
smooth jazz
bullxit.
Louched Liver
Jazz for Normals.
Porkio
I recently heard this band from my hometown Chattanooga, TN called Infradig, who are really good. Kind of instrumental chill-out music with a beat and subtle trip-hop/jazz influences. Their early stuff is a completely different band, kind of lame, but their album Clinical Indifference is great.
