That thyme sinthe is pretty tasty stuff, but it really does the trick too
when you have a little tickle in your throat, timin is the most common ingredient used for a cough suppressant.

"RATFEST 06" is on (Iron River Wisconsin) and I'm not there.
We meet the daughter's future IL's today. Nice folks. Got the daughter packed to move to NC, and had lunch at Crazy Tomato. Pitchers of beer (well if you can call Bud Lite beer) were in order. I had a Stella Artois first. Which turned out to be weird as I stated that my favorite beer styles were belgian. Stella is Belgian, although I never paid attention to it before.
I fixed the vent fan in the wife's car, and in the truck (strange that both went out within a week of each other) and I did some work on the bike (fixed the right turn signal, adjusted valves, yada, yada, yada) and made a quick dinner.
I had a glass of Beringer White Zin and a crumpet (home made from sour dough) with Orange Marlmalade. Now I'm on to beer and mead.

I had a great time visiting with Kirk and his wife. What a great couple. I really enjoyed Kirk's showing me his shop and tools. What a neat setup. He was very generous at explainingg a lot of the tools that were not intuitive obvious to me (from an engineering point of view). Everything was set up in a very orderly (Productive/ergonomic) manner. If I ever had a shop that was that neat it would only be bacause I just moved in.
Had a great time walking around his yard looking at the garden, etc.
I hated to have to go so early, but had to get up to the horseshoe when I got back.
Burned the crap out of my head Sunday on the way home on the bike. The engine started cutting out after I gassed up around Marion VA. I thought I had picked up a bad tank of gas or sucked some shit in the mid range jet (bad ju-ju for pistons). Pulled over at a gas station and stuck my head down to look at the carb and bumped the front exhaust pipe. I've got a blister the size of a half dollar now.
After a half hour of fiddeling around, I figured out one of the spark plug wires came out of the rear coil. Plugged it back in and away it went. The rest of the ride home was great. 65m/h in the right lane and fuck the speed deamons. It was a beautiful day for a ride.
