Maybe not, but is it really all that different from what happened at the old Lounge? Hiram may not be ripping people off, but he is selling shit. If he'd admit H5 is a business and not a discussion board, it might be a different matter. Opie banned the people who disagreed with the way he ran the place. He also deleted topics and posts he didn't like. The people who are getting banned are just coming here and saying what happened to them, just like we went back to Fee Verte to tell what happened to us. Sorry if it’s ruining your good time.

So I guess my privileges weren't revoked after all. The Lord™ said he was changing some settings and me not seeing the forum was an accident. But it was hard not to jump to conclusions given the timing coinciding with my critcial post and Saucier's demotion 24 hours prior.

6 months ago I had no problem with the place, even liked it, but this whole thing has made me realize I prefer the FV style of handling controversy, where the forum sorts it out rather than the admin controlling what is said, where it is said, and what happens to people for what it is that they said. Even if he's within his bounds to do so given the rules he set up, it just looks bad and alienates people.

Don used to threaten to kill people at FV and get away with a warning. Saucier calls the place creepy over here and loses priviliges over there.

It seems to me that this is how all of this started. Hiram banned most of the people who contributed and made his parties what they were. He then read PRIVATE PMs and had a snit fit that he wasn’t invited when those folks carried on without him. When was the last WS Pay to Drink event? It seems like juvenile sour grapes to me. This is as pathetic as last years Lounge Hen Party™ crap.

Well this is turning into the never-ending fucking train wreck. While mildly entertaining, there is a point when everyone needs to take their dicks off the table & resist the temptation to use the admin features on the boards.
