I'm reading a boatload of Bryson right now.

Xit I should've read years ago but haven't had the time for...
TheGreenOne
Book of Longing. As to what I've learned....
2loucheltrec
Bushido: the code of the samurai by Inazo Nitobe.
Slackjaw
Four thousand, three hundred and sixty cubic inches...
Le Gimp
Triple-Wasp!

Sounds like an interesting read.
Slackjaw
more like Quad-Wasp, butt that'd be "Wasp Major" to you...
Le Gimp
True dat.

There was not tripel-wasp. I didn't bother to google it and just looked at the cylinder banks and miss-counted.

I still like the Twin Wasp best, but that is because it was used on the first airplane I flew in.

I'm about to pick up Postcards from the Edge.

I haven't had much time to pick up a book lately.
Between Spasmo and the fqact that I'm writing a lot,
my leisure reading has gone right downhill.
About the most i can handle is the current issue of Bitch.
jaded prol
Here's a review of a book I recently published. A great collection of reality based soul enriching poetry!
Kirk
Nice work, where can I get a copy?
jaded prol
Here.
greeneyes
Where can I get a soul?
TheGreenOne
You can't. There's only one.
jaded prol

Here is a review of a book I just published, along with a link to where you can buy a copy.

And an heirloom-quality book it is, too.

You should buy another. You need one for both eyes.

When I saw the previews for Hannibal Rising,
I realized I was out of the loop, bookwise.
Bought the book for the flight today.
2/3 through and it's okay.

I much preferred Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs,
but I like the concept behind this one.
Just not sure if it works.

Maybe if Harris had written them in some order,
I might be happier.

Just downloaded the audio book from usenet, I enjoyed the other two. I will share my thoughts.

It isn't a long drive though.

Now that sounds interesting.
Kirk
It had me hooked when he started talking about the difference in spinning between two dead centers and one live, one dead center, it was a cliff hanger, turned out it was "truth".

I'm anxiously awaiting this little gem from my favorite humorist.

It should be on its merry way, free of charge, and signed any day now.
A.B. Normal
A big thanks to TGO!
Seems I have a new Tim Powers book to read this weekend.

Danke, darlin'!

(but did you mean to send two copies or was it that confounded double vision?)
greeneyes
I am, under duress, reading a book about society's victimization of men.
So far, all I have learned is that women make men afraid to masturbate.
I suppose this is why images of women are so often used to discourage and suppress male masturbation.
