Brains are like terrorist organizations: you can kill off a few cells, but other cells will still operate independently to blow shit up.

I'm not drinking a damned thing and here I am at nearly 4AM. Had an allergy attack at 10pm so I had to take a Zyrtec-D, because it was all I had on hand. I fucking hate pseudoephedrine. Maybe I should drink a lot of something promptly so I can fucking sleep already.

I spend most of my nights pissing my life away drinking in bars. When I get home, I'm usually too drunk or too *busy* to sit on the internet.
It's funny how drinking absinthe keeps you up, and gives you that energy to sit around and type 'til the sun comes up

With a few exceptions,
I always prefer blanches.
Philly ain't so bad tonight.
Bar stayed open later than is was supposed to.
Smoking was allowed.
And the bartender served me after last call,
letting me leave with a beer in my coat pocket.
Very covert.
If you tip like Dinky (and me),
these are the perks.
I was a little freaked out when I realized it wasn't a twist-off,

I have a bottle opener on my key chain.
It was given to me by a Dutch/Flemish girl that I used to have a huge crush on a long ways back.
She lives in a place called Ternuzen.
It used to have a blue and white porcelain badge with a windmill on it.
The badge crumbled off of it years ago.
I have opened countless hundreds of bottles with it and it has been with me all over the world.
She and I are still very good friends.
We just spoke on the phone the other day.
She called to tell me about her trip to Chicago.
Every time I use that bottle opener it reminds me of her.
