absinthist
Anythin' s makin' ya wet in the recent time.
Bognoz
Except for yr

absinthist
It is not supposed to. Off the meds again?
Bognoz
Off with his head
is what I meant.
Bognoz
U-nick 'em once

Louched Liver
Cutting statement.
absinthist

Louched Liver

Kirk
I'll say " What is Milky Way" for $100 Bob.
Absinthe_1900
For Le Pape d'Absinthe, it does exist.
Absinthe_1900
Close up.
Grim
HOLY FUCK!
Chris
What he said.

Where'd you find that?
Absinthe_1900
I head about it from the owner.

You'd be surprised what is lurking out there off the internet. Other than old bald internet predators.

Louched Liver
I like the 13 cent
tax stamp.
Louched Liver
Does that lower
left panel say-
"Serve in a small
glass MYSTERY WORD
free of ice."

Waddufuck is the
mystery word?
Louched Liver
Actually, various and
sundry closeups of the
whole label would be
lovely.

Since fucks are already
jerkin' off over it.
jaded prol

MYSTERY WORD

Strained?
GreyBoy2
The man of mystery words
knows what the mystery word is.

It looks clear to me that it's Strained.
TheGreenOne
If only it were filled, it would be perfect for PreBanFest.
Louched Liver
Well, I strained,
butt couldn't read
it.
Absinthe_1900
The Lounge, where wet dreams come true.
Absinthe_1900
Absinthe Anisette
TheGreenOne
Other than for the Absinthe Anisette option, it was normally prepared without sugar. Natch.
Absinthe_1900
I'll have more information on all this old junk, after I finish training the new Imp.
Le Gimp
Sweet.

Nice looking dog too.

How old is he?
Absinthe_1900
The new Imp is 11 weeks old, he's still in the Baked Potato with legs stage.
Le Gimp

I wish you many happy memories together.
Louched Liver
You can't put "opalize"
on a bottle now.

Nobody'd know what the
fuck it meant.
Louched Liver
And congrats on
the pup!
Kirk
He's a little sweetie.
Absinthe_1900
Thanks!

He has some big paw prints to fill.
absinthist
Very nice!
Kirk

Crosby

Rho
They look very nice. May I ask what was wrong with the regular silver? What was wrong with the surface texture.

If you don't care to answer, if it's too much work, etc. That's fine. I just get curious.
Kirk
Sterling silver is traditionally an alloy of 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper.
Heating the alloy to any useful degree creates a layer of surface oxide called fire scale. A highly polished piece of silver has this layer removed through abrasion. The abrasive process removes much of the detail.
Sterling silver with germanium has the same 925 parts silver but a small part of the additional metals is germanium. Germanium allows a more stable alloy system with little to no surface oxide left over from casting and forging.

Rho
Makes sense, cool! Thanks for the info!
G&C
Kirk.
mthuilli
Bravo!

They look very nice.

The pictures don't do them justice.
Absinthe_1900
A little label that crossed my desk, for July in NOLA.

Not done, but I had to show it:
