I overthink shit,
play mean tricks on people,
and then write about the whole business
in a way that nobody in his right mind would want to read.

I think that kindness and love are important to put out into the world
because the more you put out there,
the more kind and loving a place the world is.
This is a problematic thing to think
because, in my heart of hearts, I am a pretty nasty person.

but a kind and loving one. Besides, if you were genuinely nasty, it wouldn't bother you a bit.

Perhaps being conflicted
is part of my whole thing I've got going.

You're not a nasty a person but I see what you have in common with the Liver . . . . People irritate me too but rather that be nasty or try to be acceptably sociable, I ignore them completely, though I might envision doing unpleasant things to them.

As for me -- I look at the larger implications of everything -- all of them. In moments of inspiration (coffee driven sometimes) I write poetry. I spend time working on progressive politcal stuff in my community and trying to fight of my own cynical carmudgeonly attitude regarding it.

Except for the company of a few very eccentric creative people I could just as well be a hermit. To some extent, that is what draws me here -- you misfits fit the bill.

I just dress up and throw a party...
