I also have an identical bottle to the one Oxy was selling (though his label is in better condition). I'm surprised it only went for $1,000 (though that's probably what it's worth). Saw one last year in worse condition go for almost $1800. Maybe people are holding their wallets because of Xmas presents...

That's good to know. I assumed after the auction was OK since the item is no longer available so nobody ends up losing out...
Though I suppose if the buyer flaked out then the next highest bidder (DG in this case) would be entitled to the item.

That's usually how it goes ... sometime's the seller will end an auction early if you email him.

I reported her ass, and that email was 2 days before the auction ended. It's entirely possible the bottle went for $1000 because of her interference.

I don't know from E-bay, but that is extremely against the rules, right? Can't she be banned from doing business through them?
