How about girls who taste bad?
I do have that little whiskey/cigarette thing going on.
Whisky: *good* (preferrably The Balvenie aged in Sherry casks, at least in this context)
Cigarettes: bad.
Of course, the mixture of the two might taste like Laphroaig (yum!) -- are your cigarettes peaty?

'Dancer in the Dark' was so bad that it made me angry.
In fact, it's making me angry now, just thinking about it.
Your appraisal of the movie (or lack thereof) is making *me* angry just now.
"Dancer in the Dark" == GOOD. Not as good as Breaking the Waves, though.

Moulin Rouge? That film must have increased aspirin sales tenfold!
You bet. It felt like being forced to watch MTV for hours at an end with the head strapped into a frame.

oh, and you are correct....Breaking the Waves was better than Dancer in the Dark and most other movies.

Police Academy-Worst comedies?
Rocky-Worst "dramas."
The worst movie I have ever seen-The Incredible Melting Man( Mid-70's).An astronaut is irradiated in space and loses all his skin.
He is hospitalised, decides he has to get a glimpse of himself, and removes his bandages. He is so traumatized by the sight he escapes from the hospital and goes on a rampage through the city.
During his stroll ,he begins to melt.Pus,blood and bodily tissue are left in his wake. The best scene is the one in which an ear is scraped off on a bush.(Lingering close-up of ear.)
That's it.Watching a man "melt" for 1 1/2 hours. It looks like pizza sauce and lots of cheese were dumped over the actor and just slowly runs off.
I saw this one with my dad when I was 13.Nauseating family fun.

One film stands alone: BLACK DEVIL DOLL FROM HELL. Bad by every conceivable standard of measurement.
Naturally, it's available on eBay.

Pink Flamingos. I almost left the theatre during that one; it was THAT terrible.
Both Charlies Angels movies were pretty awful, too.
Gremlins was dumb when I watched it as an adult; I can't figure out what I saw in that film when I was young... cute mogwai I guess...
Hellraiser 3: a cenobyte that shoots CD's at his enemies = DUMB!

Pink Flamingos was supposed to be terrible.John Waters aims for "terrible" in his films.Repulsive and tacky are high on his list, also. This is the "so bad,it's good" school of film making, but in John Water's case it's intentional.

If so,I think I would be missing much of the meaning of the film without those scratch and sniff cards.

T3 was so bad .... bad plot, too many holes, lame jokes that tried WAY too hard. All in all, it was the most dissapointing finale to a series I can recall. Hell, even Jason X was better than T3.

I'd have to agree. As much as I enjoyed the first two Terminator movies, the third was a complete waste of time. Even its attempts at self-parody were flaccid.

Dec 29 2003, 07:13 PM
By the time the producers go for number three, they have money on their minds to a greater extent than usual.Who cares about the story? If people saw the first two or three, etc, they'll see the rest of the mess.
The Star Trek series seems to be(except for William Shatner's directorial contribution)an exception, and The Lord of the Rings seems to have bypassed sequel Hell.
Each of these movies was meant to work on it's own,not just be part ll,etc.
Most sequels, though, are a waste of time and money.
