I just learned that the Seattle delegation is still stuck in L.A.

Flight delays. Mechanical difficulties. Alaska Airlines.

It will be at least 5:45 pm before they get a flight out.

The campers don't sound happy. But G&C says they had a grate time.

That blows.

We just got back into Atlanta. Had a fooking grate time. Oscar didn't bring the camera, but I know that the Seattle delegation took some pics.

Thanks to Eric for being such a grate host. You rock the cat box.

I had the most amazing time. Meetings Eric, Zman, G&C, Grim, Oscar, Hissy Kittens, The Green Imp, Sandpeddler, Damian, Becky, Terry, and Marc. I tasted so many absinthes, all of them fantastic.

Fabulous.

Although, I'm no longer speaking to Grim.

Bitch hasn't called me in a year.

I just got home and the motherfuckers not only lied all day long about fixing the POS that was suppose to be my ride home, but they rescheduled five times and re-booked us four.

The flight was suppose to leave LAX at 10:30AM.
We took off at 8:00PM.

Best part is they lost my bag. Actually I borrowed it from Saucier.
All my clothes and a bottle of very nice Crème de Cassis amongst other items are now gone.

So much for Alaska Airlines.

American Airlines treated us good and even got into LAX about 25 minutes early.
A tail wind from Austin.

First off taking a Trip to Texas did not take a lot of convincing. When I booked it was about 9 deg here in Wisconsin. Our first full day in Austin was 85 deg and sunny. Having never been to Texas I was struck by the natural beauty. Central Texas is very much like Central Wisconsin.

Other than this fabulous bash, I had another reason for going to Texas. The worlds largest vintage guitar show!! I bought a 1895 parlor guitar replica, pictured below played by Terry and Eric.








Terry is an outstanding player and would not relinquish the guitar, so I was relegated to vocals under the Texas stars.

That was what I wanted to talk about.



My bag was just delivered.

My weekend is now over.

Looks like a blast, I hate that I missed meeting up with you guys.

THANK YOU to Eric!

He was the most gracious host.
He opened his abode to us and we just took right over, ran the place rampant and stayed up all night for four nights with the talk and music getting louder each night.

We got the quick tour of the town from downtown, to the down and out. Ate some fantastic BBQ and even got a little Sunday morning Gospel & Blues at Maria's Taco Stand.
Damn that woman can sing!
And me without my camera in tow. Fucking Norom.

It was also my first ever Breakfast Taco.


I just cannot say thank you enough to Eric.

I will post some pics when I get them sorted.


I need a nap.
