Opening scene:
Frustrated young doctor hates his father,
thinking he would rather be any place but here, he spins a globe and swears an oath:
God, any place my finger lands, I swear, that's where I'll go,
he repeats it (just for emphasis) :
God, any place my finger lands, I swear, that's where I'll go,
the globe stops;
CanuckyFuckyLand!
Spins again, God, I swear, any place my finger lands, that's where I'll go;
Uganda!

I haven't seen the movie yet,
but it must be worth it for that scene.

I saw it and thought it was good. Ms Prole was pissed because it was a bit brutal as it progressed and violence upsets her and gives her nightmares. If there's a lesson in the movie it might be that one should PTFA before one gets in over one's head.

I saw it prettu much back-to-back with The Beales of Grey Gardens. Now I have the superstitious belief that being named anything that sounds like "E-Dee" makes you not-right-in-the-head.
