I must be missing something entertaining.

For anyone who wants the backstory I will post it. By the way, I'm an OPEN and honest person. I admit my faults. She hides her's likes the manipulative guttersnipe she is.

This is taken from my myspace blog posted in February. Those who are my myspace friends have already seen it. How it all started, look below:

I lost a (supposed) friend over a ridiculously, stupid thing. It was absolutely childish, but I acted in self defence. Even though it was defense, I feel bad about losing a friend over immaturity on both parts.


The situation: I try to remain friends with the people I date. The last relationship I had was last August/September. I ended the relationship due to location (California), and that has always been a sore spot for him ( Stroller). However, we decided to remain friends. (This guy keeps sending me photos of the girls he is dating)

He has a myspace page and I would comment to him on the page and vice versa. His latest girlfriend (Amber) became very jealous and started insulting me. It was silly stuff. "I have your man" (Ummm....noooooo, I gave him up, no longer interested), "you're a dumb blonde". etc). Yep, high school behavior, right?

I contacted him and told him what she was doing. He didn't know about it and when he checked it, he was amused and started laughing. He didn't stop it. After the third insult (fueled by indignant rage), I responded to her attacks. Stroller had sent me IMs telling me she is jealous of me and doesn't like me communicating with him. He also told me he thought I was prettier, better body, etc. and that I shouldn't have dropped the relationship and she should be me.

Here is the immature Allison bit: I forwarded the IMs to her. Yeah, I know. Completely childish and I regret it. Well, she started boo hooing (how manipulative) and Stroller was mad that I revealed his thoughts. I understand his anger and yes, it is justified. It was communication only between he and I, but I really was so mad at her insults. The mature thing would have been to ignore her insults in the first place. Since then, his current flame has got her friends to email me and harrass me.

I lost a friend over this ridiculous situation, but it still peeves me that he was amused by her insults to me and only got mad when I retaliated to her attacks. We are no longer talking to one another. When he called to tell me she was crying, I tried to apologize and he hung up. Just to be nice and end this ordeal, I apologized to BOTH him and her. He has now invited her to places where he knows I frequent. I have received no apology from him or her about their actions, which were started first. No response. Oh well, I'm sorry I did it and I know I'm a better person for regretting it and apologizing.

I try to steer clear of any drama and angst. Life is complicated enough without making further complications. I can sometimes be immature when pushed (and pushed and pushed).
