Marilyn Manson is pretty much known to be an Absinthe lover. Some years ago his management startet purchasing his Absinthe from Absinthe-Distribution. Eventually we met after a concert in Switzerland and had the idea developing a Manson Absinthe. Prototype 35 is the final version before the soon to come Mansinthe.
Absinthe lovers will like this easy to drink Absinthe made from fine herbs - just like Duplais or Brevans. It is naturally colored and obviously not sugared.
Your feedback is highly welcome and may take influence on the final release. The secret ingredient:
And it's less than $300 a liter.

I met Markus.
- I did not have to hide behind Oxy
- I did not run away screaming
- I did not have to buy something to get him away from me
- He didn't chase me down to try to sell me something else
- I didn't have to give him my phone number
- And he didn't ask me to vouch for his character on any of the forums
- Nor state that I am doing this totally unprompted
Come on Crosby, be reasonable.

No, it's probably the gallery owner that is. Mansinthe is designed to be cheaper than Duplais (and even Markus says that it cuts some corners), but the prerelease with Marilyn Manson label, with prices set by the gallery, goes for €300 (MM label, numbered bottle) or €500 (when signed by the illustrious Marilyn Manson -- or was that illustrous? ;) ).

My thoughts, too. Marcus' reputation lends ample credibility no matter what someone thinks of Manson. What I've heard of his music isn't quite to my taste, but he's just an entertainer playing a role. He has some artistic talent and a hell of a design sense.

I'm curious based on the comments over at the FV. People seem to be defending it pretty vigorously. Their argument is that we shouldn't judge it strictly by it's namesake, but by its content. Apparently it's pretty high quality stuff.

What's wrong with that? I was just reporting what Markus said.
Mansinthe is aimed to introduce the maximum number of Americans to absinthe, same for Lucid, so how can you make a very complex absinthe when you want to please Budweiser drinkers, Absente drinkers and Jack Daniel's drinkers? Be realistic Cros', I'm not talking about absintheurs here. If the market is good, then the complexe ones will come.
Remember it was the same in France back in 2000, it is nothing to do with "americans drinking and eating xit".
I think you missed my point.
But I still like you and I still esteem you Cros'.
