As much as I hate Bush II, I hate Moore more. If he didn't play loose with the truth, it would be a different story.

The trip to Cuba is very funny.

The trip to Cuba was what ruined the movie. He didn't stand a chance in hell of getting those patients into Guantanamo, and he knew it, but did it anyway as a stunt. Seemed to be more concerned with cinematic drama than actually helping sick people.
The rest of the film was great though and I had no problem with it. In this one he's apparently very accurate, even insurance companies couldn't find much wrong with it. I know several people who are financially fucked because of medical bills, and that's just absolutely morally wrong, and if Michael Moore wants to do a movie about it, then that's fine by me.

I think Moore did us all a service by bringing this up now and cutting through all the xit the insurance lobby puts out. I have struggled against insurance companys and HMO's to get services for people and I owe about $900.00 in medical bills that my insurance wouldn't pay.
Michael Moore may overdo it and get sophmoric at times but he's OK with me.

Looks like they are moving into construction work around here. I passed a couple of houses being re-roofed at lunch today. All mesican crews, prolly a dozen of them out there on the roofs.

There's a park near my house, ballfields pool, tennis, soccer, etc...
Every day, all the "undocumenteds" gather at the edge of the parking lot next to the street that goes by waiting for work.
You'll see vans, pickups, landscaping trucks pull up and perform interviews then a few will jump in and off they go for their "undocumented" labor.
I drive by there every Sunday morning on may way to play soccer,I like to slow down a bit so they all look over and think it's a payday, then I just keep driving on.
I'm waiting for a gunshot one of these mornings.

This is the park where a 14 year-old girl,

Prolly do a better job at it than the high school dropouts whose job they stole too.

I'm sure they'd make fine soundmen too and I bet WBT has work for them.
