If you've been paying attention, you know I moved 3 years ago. I basically boxed everything up and shoved it in my new basement. Then I bought all new shit for the new place.

Every now and then I take a trip into the dark basement to see what I've forgotten about. Due to all the recent rain I've had to move my boxes of booze. The humidity down there was worrying me.
The other day I uncovered a shoe box of sample bottles. Some marked, some not.
I also found a few bottles of absinthe I thought I'd long since finished. Little fuckers I'd never had the balz to kill.

Tonight I pulled out a bottle of the Moonman's #16.
The label is tough to read but it's 68% alc.
There was enough for 2 glasses. I poured one.

It's really cloudy, and yellowish brown. The pics look clearer than real life.
It smells exactly how I remember it. Light, citrusy, with a metalic tang.

It starts to louche really nicely, but soon gets pretty translucent.

By the time the ratio is right (about 3:1) it's a dirty yellow color.

It still smells light and citrusy, like lemon lime kool aide.

There's a bit of anethol at the forefront, some metalic wack, and then a light lemony flavor that lasts and lasts. I can taste the rectified wine in the base, but it's not strong enough to be a 100% wine base. Most likely a blend of neutral and some oaked chardonnay.
It's really weak and anemic, but has so many subtle flavors that I'm not inclined to dump it. There's a bubblegum calamus hint, as well as bitter orange and hyssop.
It gets better with every sip, but still sux ballz™.

I wonder if Moonman has evolved or become extinct.
It's nice to go back in time, but I'll take what we got now over what we had then.

I think he's evolved into a guy who knows not to drop his soap in the shower.

When I go back to work I quiet down, I don't go silent. The way he vanished he either died, or was advised by his lawyer to stay clear.

Not only did he dissappear from here, he also dissappeared from LFV.

Poof! Gone.

No one has mentioned seeing him on any other sites as well.

Not unless he (1) had someone re-ship from CanuckyFuckyLand, or (2) moved south to the usa.
