Just got back from seeing the Dropkick Murphy's and celebrating with some Irish whiskey. Our ears are still ringing.

Some local porter, a DFH 60 minute, somewhere around a half bottle of absolute ruby red, and a bomber of 8% Rockart ESB.

I thought about drinking a some absinthe, but setting up a fountain is such a pain...

Turning on the faucet isn't.

I use a paper cup like a carafe to do a slow pour/drip. Fountains are for parties.

I don't use a fountain any more.

After realizing that almost every painting and poster I've seen depicts a caraf, I've switched to one. Dump in some ice, add water, swirl and pour

Carafs are cheap. I got a nice one for $2.50 at a flea market. I later saw some at 'Big John's Close Outs'
for a dollear each.

Very cheap, indeed. Got that one for less than expected.

Presents itself very nice, if I am using it not that often.

I can't be bothered with paraphenalia. I pour some good cane sugar (Florida crystals) into a small cold bottled water and then pour that into the absinthe. I like sugar in absinthe. It improves Lucid somewhat. All my spoons, glasses and shit like that are in a closet. I'm going to give Kirk's silver pieces to my granddaughter. The rest is finis with the siecle.
