I tried to find SAAZ hops just now and can't even find them. Word on the brew chats is that hops that were going for $6.50 a pound two weeks ago are up to $28/pound this week if you can find them.
I haven't seen any impact on the MegaBrewers yet, but ....
Grain went up 30-40% last week from major suppliers by the pallet load, not just in a local shop by the pound.
Some microbreweries are reporting they are unable to make signature beer due to shortage of ingredients.

QUOTE
Hops and malt, a form of barley essential to fermentation, are both in short supply nationwide. The shortage is caused by poor crops, high demand, the weak dollar and the increasing popularity of ethanol, which has prompted farmers to plant corn rather than hops or barley.

My brew store can't get Saaz,
they are unavailable and were sold out before harvest.
It may be more widespread next fall.

With my new 3rd job I gets plenty of hops.
We're already contracted for the next 1.5 years,
and can buy extras when needed.
I can piggy-back orders from that supplier.

The dirty secret of the "hop shortage"
is the reserves the hop suppliers are holding
just in case the hop shortage really happens.
