Merry philosophers day, celebrating with 3P's, solstice, PBR and readings. Nietzsche, Waits and Twain are all I have at hand, blends nicely if you can believe that substance is cumulative, the former or the latter.

Cold mountain,
EM, much what I expected and not. I could pick a HA out of any line up. Fuqin tasty but not nearly as much spice this year, I love this brewery but Pisgah has much better offerings.

Heard the pumpkin with mead from a waterhead at work, how's it tasty?

I let it sit on the yeast too long, picked up some heat from the spices,
bites into the earthy pumpkin flavor too much, tastes peppery.

Pulled out a couple of '98 Dominion Old Millenniums.
More than a touch of oxidation, nd not as hoppy as they once were, but that oleroso sherry character made 'em still damn good, as well.
