QUOTE
After nearly a century of being banned in the United States, restrictions on absinthe - a supposedly mind-altering alcoholic potion touted by artists from Oscar Wilde to Marilyn Manson - have been lifted and the mystical liquid is flowing freely at Hub hotspots.

Yeah, Mr Wanker is even grater artist than Oscar Wilde. BS!

QUOTE
The current federal approval mandates that absinthe have “zero” thujone, although the definition of zero actually allows less than less than 10 parts per million. Kubler has nine parts thujone per million.

European version-8 mg/l, actually.

QUOTE
“This is a fourth generation Kubler making this and it’s exactly the same formula that his grandfather introduced in 1863,”

Not exactly the same formula, pre-ban was different, 45% version was different, 57% ws different, 53% is different, iffen European version is different.

QUOTE
Containing more than 60 percent alcohol

Since when 53% is more than 60%???

QUOTE
“It’s an acquired taste. Hopefully, we’ll make some cool cocktails with it and see where it goes.”

Hopefully, not.
Porkio
Kubler tastes weak and it's stinky.

Yeah, that article made page three and it got over three quarters of the page with the pic of the bottle and the champagne glass getting a large portion in color. I'm just disappointed that Peter Karl didn't contact me and Geyboy about his arrival in Boston. We coulda hada real honest ta goodness Bahstun LF. Doesn't he know who the experts are in this town anyway? Sheesh. I sure hope he wasn't saying that the dumbasses in the bars that want to "make cool cocktails" with absinthe are the "experts".
absinthist
Real experts are never called in, article writers resort to some buffoons, businessmen, or pretentious noobs-professeur d'absinthe-wannabe's.

the dumbasses in the bars...are the "experts".

The real experts are too cool for stool.
Journalism since the internet seems to involve finding "experts" by searching for sources quoted in other articles, ensuring that the same voices, and the same quotes, will be heard again and again, and that their ideas will eventually become irrefutable fact.

A lie said for the 1000th time becomes the truth, how do we know it.
GreyBoy2
I would only meat him if he brought real absinthe.

And the story continues. One advice for Kouzobler-makers, make 53% much bigger, coz:

the 120-proof grain alcohol bites at the throat like white lightning. Drink enough of that, and anyone might see a green fairy.

Or mebbe, there is a limited 60-65% version signed by Yves and with fanciful wormwood twig in/attached to the bot?
