I finally got a night off, and I'm catching up on my drinking.
Cooked a great NY strip and cracked a bottle of Chateau de Clairefont Margaux (the steak was great, the wine is a letdown).

Speaking of those who could be kissin' fishes in concrete boots, good to see you LouFab! Sorry about those Gators, guessin' there's a lotta depression around those parts.
And personally did break down and ate some black-eyed peas for New Years (mixed into a stew, actually), and didn't notice a change, however usually eating kraut daily anyways so might have prepared myself for it. Were a nice edition, however.
