Any of you Loungers live in Arizona? I know the Empress is there, but I'll be avoiding her. What about the rest of you? I'll be in AZ for a week before and over New Years.

Hey Justin.
I'm extremely bored so I dug around to find you some AZ folks if I could. There's a star on the map but no mention of who inspired it. A.B. Normal is also there.
That's all I know.

I used to live in AZ. I won't be going there for the holidays this year, though.

Hey Justin!
I'll be here for the holidays and I'm in the Phoenix area so PM me if you wanna swing by for a drink. I have 8 bottles in various stages of emptiness and I'm just dyin' to drink with someone who appreciates it for a change. Most of my friends can't get past one glass.

Walking Distance to ASU...
stumbling distance from Casey Moore's...you know the area?

Yep yep. I lived near Broadway and Alma School. Not too far away.

I lived at Broadway and Dobson for a while a few years back. My car was broken into four times and my roommate's car was stolen. Before that at Broadway and Extension. I think I've finally washed Mesa off of me.

I lived on the other side of Alma School. Kind of a weird place. My neighborhood was quiet, but across the street and a block north wasn't.

Yeah, apparently I was across the street.

Yep, you would have been. There are some cheap rent apartments and a Project on that side. Between Alma School and Dobson.

I intend on moving back to AZ, someday.

I've been here roughly 10 years. I couldn't wait to move away. I went to Erie, PA, for 10 months a few years ago for grad school, vowing never to return. 147 inches of snow later, I came back and vowed never to leave again. My blood got too thin from all the heat and the peppers.

I spent most of my life living in the NorthWest. Rain almost every day. I moved to AZ for two years, then accepted a job in San Diego. Ended up being shipped back to the NorthWest. Rain almost every day.

I live for the rain here. The lack of it is really my only complaint. I get kinda twitchy when it's been a few months since we've gotten any storms. I'm originally from the DC area so this was a bit of an adjustment.

I'll be back, someday. Especially if I can find a job with similar pay.

If you ever need a scout, let me know. I know people who know people who know people.

Don't be too loud. Arizona might file some sort of injunction against your arrival.

Hang around ASU. Biggest party school in the country. You're SURE to nail some young tail while you're there.
Just practice this pick-up line; 'I have beer and Pucker back at my place.'

Actually, ASU isn't quite what it used to be. It was great when I was there but it's just not the same anymore. Sad, really. I don't know what's wrong with youngsters today but they've gotten way too responsible.

I tried to go home again to my alma mater. Cops asked me to produce ID when I fell off the jungle gym and vomited on the crossing guard.

I've found "Hey, at least I'm not Lars" works pretty well too.

I've used that successfully too.
