Sam Smith's Taddy Porter followed by his Imperial Stout. Like the porter better, one of the best I've had in quite some time. Have Delerium Tremens waiting for when a buddy gets into town later this evening, looking forward to it as I have not tried it yet.
Tomorrow I look forward to waking up at the buttcrack of dawn and enjoying myself on a ski slope all day (first time skiing this year). Monday I look forward to waking at the buttcrack of dawn, and hobbling around all day realizing that I am TOTALLY out of shape and getting too old to ski a bat-out-of-hell like I used to. Am looking forward to tomorrow, not monday. Still worth it, though.

Samuel Smith's here, too.
Nut Brown Ale, though.
Thinking about having some wine and cheese next.
I'm not drinking in public again until I can get my tolerance back up.

Give me a week or two.
Causing dental dam(age) to a good friend
without any recollection of the event
prolly means I should be cloistered for the time being.
Worst I can do from here is a drunk dial.
Wine tonight, after a long workday
and an evening with the family
at a city park/petting zoo.

On my third glass of Scotch (Lafrog). Legs and arms feel better than they should. However, after both skis popping off my feet in mid-air the second run of the day, quickly followed by me landing feet-first into the snow, knees buckling, and me giving myself a ski-boot suppository, my tailbone is a bit bruised. Needless to say I got my bindings tightened once down the mountain and my skis didn't fall off the rest of the day. Today made me glad I don't have to sit down at work.
This third glass of scotch is helping to erase the memory of me removing my ski boot (with my foot attached) from my arse...

I have "Persistence of Memory" hanging in my classroom. One of my students asked me who 'did it'.
"Dali", I replied.
"Dolly Parton?"
I just banged my head on my desk. This is the same student who wrote that Jim Hawkins from Treasure Island lived in 'The Bimbo Inn', instead of 'The Admiral Benbow'.

Too much sobriety recently.
So, after saving some money from not drinking, I decided to blow some of it on a bottle of Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf du pape.
The french might suck, but their wines don't.
Goddman I love a great frenchy wine.
