I know what you mean about jobs. Still, some things are more tolerable than others. -- even doing X-rays or something. done was lawn care/landscaping.

1nce it got to the point where
everything was lookin' good
and it was just maintenance
I got bored as fuck.

1st day for every job
I took now.

First job I got in Tally
was at a decrepit Holiday
Inn and I knew the 1st
hour I'd be quitting.

I did, 5 weeks later.

And went to the
Double Tree to be
a manager, against
my better judgment
and knew I'd be
quitting after the 1st
month.

And I did, 2 months later.

The 3rd job I liked.
And I thought I'd stay
there until I left Tally.
But, the money dried
up, right around a year
ago, because of spring
break and Easter break
for the politicos, and
then summer came and
I only made $100 some
weeks.
So, I knew I'd have to
quit to make more $$.

So I did.

And sold cars, and
HATED the down time
and HATED the disdain
I was treated w/by the
sales manager, but, I
was making enough
money, so I thought I
could gut it out.

But, my mom died and
left me a solid mid-sized
pile and I quit.

And now, almost 5 months
into retirement, I absolutely
cannot imagine being told
what to do or having to do
something at a certain time.

I'm enjoying my time off and working at home too. I'm working on getting out my mag, hopefully it'll be out by late next week. I have to chase down some insurance of my mother's too so I'll have some of that coming in. Meanwhile putting out aps and looking forward to enjoying the spring. Already have things peeking up in the garden, have to do some digging in the dirt and planting. Cooking too, I'll fire up the grill real soon. Might have to jump in the car an head for Kirkistan before too long.
