I'm drinking my fifth glass of #8, it is wonderful. The gin sample that I recieved is also very good.

Let's see .... 5 of #8 .... that equals 40 in my book.

This new ET is very, very good!

I haven't asked TD yet, but I believe it to be another 100% wine base. It is a rather big improvement from the #5. What I noticed with the #5 was a strong upfront wine taste that lingered throughout. Though it was tasty and pretty smooth the wine just hit you a bit too hard.

This #9 is so well balanced to me that I had to compare it my ultra-aged Pignon Et L'Epee... I found them to be very close in character but I did notice a bit more complexity to the P&E towards the end as it tapered off whilst drinking.

It seems as if TD increased the louche slightly with this new batch which was a delight to see... I'm just a sucker for the louche.

Overall I would say that the new ET/TD is by far the best that this crafter has produced and I'm so very grateful for the sample that was sent my way!!! Thank you once again ET/TD!

So to summarize... soft, wine forefront taste smoothens out midway which gives way to a delicate, creamy blend of the more traditional herbs used.

I would definitely order more of this one when it came available!

Okay, you sold me ... I'm ready to buy.
