I ~know (person on a forum I used to frequent) a person who did all those to a honda civic. He's getting ~80mpg out of a regular ole 1986 civic. Pretty good. I can get over 70mpg out of my stock jetta, so I don't complain much. Went 1200 miles on a 70mpg tank, that was pretty cool.

Trying to sell a golf right now that has done over 1000 miles on a tank at 60mpg. You wanna buy and boat tail it?

I like the undertray idea... and what's the consensus on Pickups? Cap, no cap, tailgate up or down?

I take mine off completely on long drives where I won't need it, now that gas has become such an issue. If I have to, I can fit it in the crew cab behind the seats.
