This stuff is what true Flanders style Oud Bruin overlayed with sour cherries xould taste like, and it definitely kicks the xit out of Liefmann's Kriekbier

Why these beers are to be served in such a tiny quantity? 2 oz. is like a 60ml, right?
Far too small to revel in these offerings (from what I am reading most of them are true full-bodied beers). Why don't they serve them in at least 100ml-that would mean 58 beers, each 100=5800ml=an equivalent of almost 12 beers per head, so the party is kinda started; with 58 beers, each 60=3480ml-an equivalent of just almost 7 beers.

I believe GreyBoy2 wuz inferrin' to:
"A shill is an associate of a person selling goods or services or a political group, who pretends no association to the seller/group and assumes the air of an enthusiastic customer. The intention of the shill is, using crowd psychology, to encourage others unaware of the set-up to purchase said goods or services or support the political group's ideological claims. Shills are often employed by confidence artists. In the UK the term plant is also used."

* All beers are poured by BA Fest Staff during NotB.
* All beers are subject to change and availability.

As for less than 2 oz, that was reserved for the rare beers that were in limited quantities so that more people could try them.

Brett heads I know seem to think the yeast isn't assertive enough, but I think they're confusing an oud bruin/kriekbier with a lambic. There's enough tartness in the Dissident, but it has the some of the refined elegance I remember in the Liefmann's Goudenband of the 80s. It's a shame they filtered it, though.

Syrupy body with big hints of chocolate, roast bacon, a touch of plum, and a rich peatiness.
Huge scotch ale with a tremendously long finish.
