yelclap.gif Too bad there isn't any in California. I'll need a car with a bigger trunk next time I drive up.
G&C
Not listed for retail in our state stores yet.

One will need to have it special ordered.

FWIW, I updated the Pacific Distillery blog with a few photos of the gin bottling event. Many thanks to G&C for helping out.

Looks like some herbs are ready for an absinthe batch in the pic of your daughter labeling the Voyager.
jaded prol
Nice list of ingredients on the label. I really look forward to trying it at the first opportunity.
gasspectro
Yeah. Lots of absinthe herbs ready to go. I also just got word from an independent lab regarding my absinthe and the T-Bones. Yeaaah me!
Le Gimp
T-Bones are over rated.

Hanger steaks are the xit.
TheGreenOne
And if you have them with eggs you get an onglet omelet.

Any Northwesters wanna help out some Southeasters?
DrinkSlinger
You better make 2. On a cause we're gonna buy the first one in record time.
gasspectro
I decided to double the recipe for tomorrow's distillation. There is now almost 200 liters of alcohol and herbs macerating in the still. For those of you who contributed herbs, thanks, they are in this batch. I'm gonna fire up that sucker at 8:00AM PST for those of you that care about these things. I'll post some pics on my blog on Monday or Tuesday.
Crosby
I'm so hot for you right now. DG.gif
G&C
Go ask your favorite liquor store to order in a case or three.
mattm3

You misspeled 'dose'.

G&C and myself colored the absinthe last week. During today's second gin bottling, we opened up the absinthe tank and took a sniff-n-taste. All appears very well with the absinthe. We will probably have about 190 liters of 62% absinthe when it comes time to bottle in a month or three.
BTW, the gin bottling went fanstastic (thanks G&C), we shaved an hour off the time to "proof" the spirit for bottling. The actual bottling only took about 1.5 hours. Tomorrow's clean-up day.
Crosby
So, you only made enough absinthe for me. You better get cooking, the rest of these fuckers might want some too.
G&C
Ha!

You're very welcome, Gassy!
G&C
The absinthe is looking, smelling and tasting real nice.
I can't wait to see it on the shelf!
