So has North Shore Distillery.

I'll wait for the Pacifique.
Absomphe
Ditto.

Double ditto.

The first doesn't sound like Pontarlier recipe at all. Butt, hopefully there will be at least three traditional absinthes in the US. Finally.

Much more than just an interesting spirit, fascinating rituals and culture revolve around consuming absinthe. It has always been a social drink. Think of having a cup of coffee at the neighborhood coffee shop, a glass of wine at an outdoor café, or sharing a hooker
Absomphe
A much more authentic absintne ritual than "sharing a hookah", unless those authentic Belle Epoque Czeckerland absinthe bonques count.
TheGreenOne
Only when bonquing a hooker.

The Sirene bottle makes it look like a feminine product. Same with Clandestine.

Uggghhhhh!

The Sirene tastes like a feminine hygiene product. Same with Clandestine.

Yummmm!

Absomphe
Minus the hygiene part, maybe.
TheGreenOne
You're not sure?
Absomphe
Nope.

I'd need to taste the Sirene, first.
TheGreenOne
Or last.
Absomphe
I'm fairly certain I'd give my sink drain that honor punishment.

Just tried the Artemisia from Fat Dog.

In a word, pathetic. Cloudy, weakish-faint green, worse than Lucid neat. Smells of licorice and alcohol. No louche whatsoever, just a pastier look than when neat. Taste is better than anticipated, but still xit. The only redeemeing quality is that the bottle is fairly cool. What a disappointment.

OTOH, the Sirene I like. I really liked the citrus profile, kinda smells like fresh hops upfront. Easily overwatered though, but I've found that around 1:3 it's got sweet spot. I'd say that right now, it falls right in behind Leo's, but with a gap.

It'll be a fine day though when Marc and Dakini get through the red tape.
