I picked up a bottle of Hendrick's today along with a bottle of Tanqueray Ten(left over xmas box set, I couldn't resist). The T10 tastes a lot like Bombay Sapphire, not bad at all but I expected a bit more. The Hendrick's is better than both in my opinion and makes for a perfect gin & tonic with a slice of key lime. The bottle pours terribly though, I ended up with more on the counter than in the glass the first time (be sure to have a pour spout at the ready). Looks like I have a new favorite, now all I have to do is convince the local cookie store to keep stocking it (the bottle that I purchased had lots of dust on it and there were only two more behind it).

I went back and bought the last two bottles today. Jim said he had planned to drop it but would keep a few bottles in stock since I'm such a good customer.

See? It's always a good idea to be buddies with the owner of a liquor store.

I bought a bottle of Hendricks Gin today. I'm not really a big fan of gin to begin with but DAMN! This stuff is fantastic!

Infusions of,
Coriander, Juniper, Citrus peel, Rose Petals, and Cucumber.
NOT your standard Gin, but something better.

Bombay Saphire has been my no-brainer standard gin for a while, but now I might have to step up to the plate and try Hendricks after your guys comments.

I would be willing to try gin infused with citrus or rose petals(a gin is actually produced with an infusion of rose petals?!)
What mixes well with rose-flavored gin?

I actually was going to go get some hendrick's last night... all fired up, jump in the car... nothing. Not even a *click*
I replaced the battery less than a month ago. I've been on vacation, and didn't drive it for about 2.5 weeks. Ok, I can understand it not starting. Jump it, drive it around for about a half hour. Repeat the next day. No go today. Fucker!

Whoo! Finally got some!
This is an interesting gin... you can taste the cucumber, which I find nice and refreshing. It is not as dry as I expected, but then, I've been drinking mostly very dry gins lately.
Thanks for the suggestion, Mr. Mayor! This is inspiration for my next... uhh... creation. In fact... I think I'll go get another glass of inspiration!

Shorted diode in the alternator.
It will kill a battery dead. And, when you install a new alternator without properly recharging the battery (which you already replaced because it was dead the first time) it will in turn overload the new alternator and blow the diodes in it.
