I have no liquor cabinet, I keep all my bottles in the cupboard next to the spices. It's about damned time I got a nice liquor cabinet, and I'm just wondering what's out there...
Where do you guys put your bottles?
Anybody got any pics of nice antique liquor cabinets?

I have an antique bar I'm very fond of, but no pictures.

Setting on a shelf in the garage next to the beer fermenters. Not very creative, but a nice constant 60f this time of year. It is also dark out there most of the time.

Dark corner of the kitchen. I have no green absinthe, only blanche, so sunlight is not really a problem.

I keep my bottles in a 1930's British made Art Deco Bar Cabinet.
The British made art deco bar cabinets are usually pretty reasonable price wise, and 30's deco seems to show up on the East coast more than my area down south.
There are quite a number of British made bar Cabinets from the 30's and 40's, that look pretty nice if you like the 30's Streamline Moderne look. (all of my furiture is original to that era)
I'm considering getting one of those flip top, drop front, bar cabinets just for Absinthe storage.
If I can get some of the moving boxes out of my dining room, I'll shoot a photo of my cabinet. (the continuing saga of this old absinthe house)

Just moving into my new house, but for now; I'm using an upper kitchen cabinet for the both the bottles and my antique glasses.
The cabinet next to it will house my pint glasses and "replica" absinthe glasses.
The underside of the cabinet has one of those racks for hanging glasses upside down, a perfect little bar area.

My bottles are all over the freakin' place. I have a nice wooden bar, but I have too many bottles and all the space is taken up. I have some bottles on the floor, some in the garage, etc. etc.

Would love to see pics of it. 30-40s deco is exactly what I'm looking to get. There's bunches of antique stores in NYC, hopefully one will have it.
Check this gorgeous beauty out. Not authentic to the era, but handsome nonetheless. And way too expensive:

Right there with you on that one.
I've got them on the kitchen counter, in various cupboards, by the computer, in the closet, a few down in the basement, and in my wine rack.

Mine are all at the professor's house. He keeps them in the cabinet above the refrigerator. I have to climb up onto the kitchen counter to reach them, which makes for a pleasantly comic scene when I've already had a few bourbons.

I try to keep them in a cupboard in the kitchen, but as it recently filled up moved some (that I won't be drinking in awhile/ever again) under the stairs in the basement. Although I usually keep a bottle on the nightstand next to my bed so I can get an eyeopener without crawling out from under the covers. Then there's the one in the bathroom under the sink. Oh, yeah, desk drawer has a flask in it as well. I need to check my seat cushions as well, last time I found 3 bottles that slipped in between them. My trunk also usually has several ready for the road as well. Did I mention the cabinet?

I generally don't have too much absinthe on hand at once. It just doesn't last that long.
I keep my regular spirits in decanters on top of an antique cabinet.
I keep whatever absinthe i have in here:

.Dogs have been taught to fetch cans for their masters. Those jaws just need to grow a little bigger to fit neatly around a bottle.
As far as pouring, wait until he is at least a year old to teach him that skill;he will have more brainpower and better coordination by then.
Until then,if you insist on having him pour, you will just have to compete with him
to see who can lap up the spillage the fastest.

I keep all my alcohol on the kitchen counter. The kitchen is dark anyway, it connects to the livingroom and I get the best picture from the projector with the drapes closed. I plan to buy a proper cabinet once I move out of this cave.
