Until a few weeks ago, the Home Page of LdF had the announcement of the White Faery Blanche due in January 2004. Now it's gone.
I know PierreVerte posted a photo of the label on La Fee Verte (this one won't be under the Emile Pernot name, evidently) but didn't give any information on when pre-orders will be accepted.
Now that I'm greedy & want to louche on work nights, I am really looking forward to a blanche with a lower alchohol content; maybe then I won't have so much trouble getting dinner on the table at a reasonable time!

Why do you want a lower alcool concentration booze??it's just the same booze cuted with water. You're paying for water!!!

it's scheduled to be ready to order by mid-january.
>it's just the same booze cuted with water. You're paying for water!!!
not quite.
however, if people don't think that it is an improvement over and/or a compliment to the 68° blanche,
LDF won't keep it.
and it's 'Fairy'

NOT 'Faery'!

That would be the Queen's English ... both are correct. That's like saying, it's not La Fee, it's Fairy!

I think what he means is that it don't read "faery" on the label. It is a product name, and it's "White Fairy"

I'll try anything LdF creates.
The Gentiane is superb! The Fouge is good too... but I question the prevalence of the minty flavor, which almost eclipses the green anis to the point where it's somewhat 'mouthwashy'.
Though it's not at all on the order of Gruene Fee, a bottle of which I received as an unintended "free gift" from a vendor...

Okay, I gotta know ... WTF is up with this guy, and why does he dress up like that? I mean, there must be more than a dozen images of this geek in various stages of ...um... how shall I say, dress. So what's the deal?

My apologies, Pierre, for some reason I had remembered the English spelling on your label. I guess I need to drink more!
Thanks so much for updating us on this; as others have noted, if it's an LdF product, I'm definitely going to try it!

"Faery" is not, contrary to what folks here seem to think, the acceptable UK English spelling of fairy - it's an archaic, obsolete spelling originating from Spenser's 1590 "The Faerie Queen".
Its generally regarded as annoying and twee in the UK, and is almost never used there, except when referring to Spenser's work.
Its modern resurrection is entirely due to the US new-age and fantasy communities, who mistakingly believe that its use conveys old world charm.
