Post some hilights!
Mental images.

The one thing I do wish I took, before the old house imploded was my post-LF post... I still sort of remembered what I tried and all, but it would've been nice to have the closest thoughts attributed to that event... river.gif

I always figured wolfie would be shorter.  No clue why.

I always figured Larry would be taller, he he he...
DrinkSlinger
So did larry. nopity.gif
faustus
lol Scorpio, you beat me to it.

My favs are the pics of larry awaking up? in the chair with the pillow, and BaaBaaDoc with his hand on his head, eyes closed, slumped in the living room.

Damn, that was a lot of fun. Wish I coulda stayed for the ribs!

Other classic moments:

Wayne: "I'm not THAT gay!"
DS & Wolfgang: "Dees ez sheete!" (As the sun was coming up)
Wolfgang, violently tossing the new UE into the sink: "There. I tasted it."

Ahh, peat burning.  A lost art.  I've had the pleasure of sitting around a burning hunk of peat a few times, and god, can it smell good.

Nothing like it IMO... though not culturally the same, were they doing that at the Viking Fest you went to?

Unfortunately no. Instead, we got treated to a show though. The 'alchemist' viking there did a GREAT job at storytelling over the fire. Not only could he tell a great saga, but his robe was ladden with hidden pouches of copper, magnesium, sodium, iron, and a myriad of other lovily metals. That was teh coolest-looking fire I've ever seen by the end of the night.

He had a genuine knack for suspense and timing with his explosions and flares of color. Tres cool.

That's where we all had to start... again.
Nolamour
Son of a Bitch! That was great!

What an awesome account of what seemed to be a good time!

I hope to remove myself from the grind one day and attend a gathering of the sort...maybe, since I've just purchased "La Maison Verte" I could have one here. I'm sure a couple of you wouldn't mind tripping down Bourbon Street for a day or two.

Great pics guys!
1888
You're not Eric are you?!

Just an inside joke, sorry!

NOLA kics ass! An Absinthe party down there would be the bomb-shit!

Glad you enjoyed our memories...
Nolamour
No sir...not Eric...but, for the right price....maybe!

I just found out that work is sending me to N'awlin's during the Sugar Bowl. God, is my company stupid or what.

Anyway, 'The Old Absinthe House' is in the Quarter, right? Any other absinthe related landmarks I have to hit while down there? Other then that, my time will be spent on Bourbon St., watching the pretty girls. . .
Louched Liver
Upcoming Louche Fests-
Seattle, April 17th.
Absinthetown, as the Sheep said, the 3rd wkend in July.
Seattle should be over a dozen fucks, I'm guessing LF04 will be close to 30
and will again be from Sat-Tues/Weds.

I scored a new neon sign for the bar too.
It's a Heineken one in the shape of a saxaphone w/5 colors.
Very cool.

Yes, it is on Bourbon Street.

You might want to check out some of the related items at Lucullus. It's an over priced antique store in the quarter...but, you can find some nice glasses, etc.
610 Chartres Street and 3932 Magazine Street

Don't forget to look for friends at La Fee Verte Cafe - 620 CONTI ST.

Or just email me before you get here...We'll go cause some trouble.
Larspeart
Hell yeah! You're on!

Split your threads up into 30 post pages. That'll fix it for you.
Louched Liver
I cut mine into 5 posts.
DrinkSlinger
God. That was a long time ago.\

Hard to believe it's been 4 years.

Louched Liver
LF03 was only a
couple days, but
was such a good
time and the Mini
Mansion worked so
well as a venue, it
opened my eyes to
the possibilities of
what an LF could
really be.
Louched Liver
LF04, the Love In,
remains my favorite.
What a vibe that year.

That was sumpin'
spayshal.
Masque
03 seemed cool, from someone three thousand miles away. By the time I called, half of you were passed out...
Louched Liver
It was small and mellow.

Like Porkio.
DrinkSlinger
I enjoyed myself at Lf'04.
Not the west coast fiasco,
the Atown love-in.
Louched Liver
LF04=the best.

LCLF04=the worst.

As far as personal
mental states go.
DrinkSlinger
True.
Louched Liver
That was a sad,
and very scary
place to be.

I don't ever plan
on going there
again.
Louched Liver
And I don't
mean Everett.
G&C
That place can be found at any location on Earth.
