I can't use the sink any more...No matter how much I clean it, the bitch still smells like hell down in the depths. The food grinder must not work too well.

Eh well...Yea, Rim, I like that last glass...and Scorp's too.

Here's my toy box (nothing worth shit...but the verte)
Nolamour
Actually, the Scotch on the left is worth more than anything in there.
Raindog
Looks nice Nolamour.
Le Gimp
Truly nice collection. The cabinet looks nice as well.
Nolamour
Thanks...The cabinet is a hand me down from good ole mom and dad. It's probably not being used for what was intended.
Le Gimp
Hard to tell from the pix. Cherry, or maybe Mahogany?

Either way, it is a nice display.
Nolamour
Beat up mahogany. I should have taken better care of it at a younger age. The key to the door is missing and there is no handle to open it. I have to stick a pencil in the key hole to pull the door open.

No matter...I love it. Thanks again.
louchefabrik
I have to add to Mr.Gimp's praise of that cabinet. That's the kind of thing I hope to get my hands on one day. (So post your address and times that no one will be home 1poke.gif )
MrGreenGenes
I'm fairly new at this, so all I have to show is my La Fee glass & spoon.

I hope it's not a crime to Drink UE with La Fee accessories. If not, my only problem now is the emply flask. :(

You guys are spending too much money on shit that's gonna break, and not enough money on booze!

Yeah, I broke a glass just like the one on the left in Sambeaus picture.

A minor crime compared to my drinking Segarra with a spoon that has the name Hapsburg written on it ... ugh!
Raindog
I need some advice on this one folks, the glass is offered on ebay and looks very interesting to me. What do you think it is worth?

Crosby
The glass $200-$250. The spoon $50-$75. The rest??? Just my opinion of what it costs someone in America to obtain these items.
Raindog
Thanks Cros, the glass is the only thing that I am interested in. The spoon, "topette" and mystery absinthe are useless to me.
Crosby
Knowing this sellers background, I'd bet the mystery absinthe is pretty damn good.
Raindog
I'll take that into account.
Thanks again Cros.

Absinthe-Antiques is an excellent dealer who is very knowledgeable and reliable.
Not interested in 100ml of 1979 Swiss Absinthe from a reliable expert? Um, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING?

Absinthe_1900
and a close up................Just ask for Phil.
Rimbaud
The Frenchman has done it again! 6 of those beauties plus 6 spoons for $120 including shipping? Fucking awesome. I'm gonna have to get a set even though I already have an antique Pontarlier...
Absinthe_1900
I have a set winging their way to the States.
Porkio
Could you post the link to order those? I couldn't find them on his site. Must have missed them or I'm just blind...
Absinthe_1900
Phil has them up on eBay, I don't think he has them on his website yet.

Last I looked the six glass sets were gone. (I got mine early this morning)

Looks like he yanked all of his stuf. Or,?
Absinthe_1900
If you look at the completed items under Pontarlier, you can see where they went.
Looks like Phil can up with a nice seller.

You can always e-mail him via his website.

Now the next repros I would like to see
are:

Feuilles #20
Grillaggees #6

Hmm, what do you think about this one:
Crosby
It's a nice try, but it doesn't hold a candle to the #'s 20-24.
DGLeadbetter
Okay, so I broke down and got one of these repro spoons. It's a pretty big hit at $25, but where you gonna find another one?

DG
DrinkSlinger
Holy cripes! I've been looking for quality repro pontarlier glasses like that. SWEEEET!
DrinkSlinger
That's was probably the quickest ebay purchase I've ever made!

15 minutes from the link to paypal!
der grune Teufel
did it in about 3 mins
gasspectro
I got my glasses today. They are fucking cool. I heartily recommend them. Now the spoons on the other hand..... SKULLE02.gif
Absinthe_1900
Use them for stocking stuffers.
DrinkSlinger
THe spoons I could care less about. I really just wanted the glasses.

How big would you say the reservoir is?

I'm pretty psyched about these. All I want now is a set of repro cordon glasses.
