Yes, Loungers, I lived through my vacation. Sorry to disapoint.

I wiped out a bottle of UE Sapin while I was gone, then went through a decent chunk of a bottle of tequila. (Couldn't replace the absinthe while there, and thought tequila would be appropriate for Arizona, despite proximity to Butty.)

I shared a little bit of Sapin with someone there that professed interest and knowledge of absinthe. Only to hear him comment on how weak it was and that instead of diluting it with water, I should have lit it on fire with some sugar. Needless to say, I didn't waste any more on him.

A good time was had by almost everyone. I enjoyed myself, and I wasn't even the person that drunkenly fell into the fire.

Jumping out of an airborn plane or dancing around the fire in a drunken stupor?
I'd sure hate to survive a jump only to burn my drunk-ass self to death.

1 jump from upper bunkbed while having severe bedspins. Almost wrecked myself.



The drunk that fell into the fire had passed out earlier and been hauled to his bed by his friends. He woke up, dragged himself back out to the fire, and fell in. Sadly, he ended up in the hospital with substantial 3rd degree burns.

Shit. I slept through my vacation. All 21 days of it (Dec 16-Jan5). Except the amount of time I spent under the hood of the Windstar, and that time is debatable since I was laying across the engine most of the time.
