Dear customer,
Now that the New Year is beginning, we have some important news to tell you.
1. We have restructured our shipping method for the USA. After testing with excellent results the functioning during december, we can now anounce that from now we are offering you a courrier service to the States. It has the following advantages:
It allows us to offer you better prices, between 12% and 20% lower than the airmail cost you were paying up to now
Faster delivery times: In normally 4 to 5 working days customers have their order at home.
It allows the option of insuring at a 100% the delivery, no matter what happens to the shipment, and this with a very small surcharge!
We believe this will result in an even better customer satisfaction

Great ...and also surprizing... how can private courrier cost a lot less than regular airmail ???!
Anyway, that's a good thing to learn as I'll soon need to place my yearly order of Segarra ( I really drink it slowly ;-) ).

The price of SC and the shipping of a company from the 20th century? Cool.

The Spanish government probably runs their airmail, since it's a communist country.

Although socialist is probably a better description (as is most of EuroFuckyLand and CanuckyFuckyLand); most things run cheaper and more efficiently when you keep government out of it.

There is not much in the absinthe section for me. I want a bottle of Kubler, another Segarra... but I spent some time browsing there today and there is a lot in the rest of the selection I want to try.

Actually, Spain is still recovering from about 5 decades of fascism. Ever hear of Franco?

Aznar is hardly a socialist. Sure, he isn't Generalissimo Franco, but still,...

What the Spaniards are or are not isn't the issue for me; the value of the dollar is the sticking point.
I hope the Europeans are enjoying their Jack Daniels and Knob Creek right now. I won't be ordering absinthe until this madness ends.
