if so, which have you tried & how owuld you rate them for secondfairies?

I've heard tell that all types of fairies enjoy felix.

I get very slight secondfairies with most HG's and commercial brands. The exceptions are La Fee and Swizzle LB.

The biggest 2ndfairy I get from Swizzlé is an intense craving for more as soon as the glass is empty. Then I usually rob a convenience store and set fire to an orphanage.

La Fee is the only absinthe I get any real 2ndfairies from. The UE's and the MM#26 I had did nadda. La Fee though. . .

I trip Balz™ with La Fee and Swizzle LB.

From the look of Rimmy's picture and his last comment, I bet he really needs his fix !

1.5 oz Bombay saphir (or Segarra gin would also be nice)
0.5oz Moonman's #23 (or any other artisanal product with not too much anis)
0.5oz spring water (because absinthe is much stronger than vermouth)

shake and serve with a nice big olive.

Smoked oysters and crackers...

Yummy

Ps.: I'm not a true martini aficionado, I added an ice cube to keep it cold.

Pps.: special thanks to LDF for reminding me the idea of an absinthe martini via their last mailling, I promess I'll taste it with their new blanche when I'll be able to order some ;-).
