I'm about 2/3 of the way through (the 1990 expanded version), having seen the miniseries a couple of times a few years ago.
So tell me, is this SK's interpretation of the Biblical Book of Revelations?

No, not really. It's more his interpertation of the end of a generation and the start of another with a battle between good and evil. I
t's an awesome book ... I try to read it at least once a year.

And I wouldn't bother with the original version, go with the "expanded" version. The 1st version didn't really miss any content as far as I was concerned, but was definitely more out of date than the 2nd version.
Excellent book, a fave of mine. Need to read it again sometime, been a few years.

Everytime I go to Vegas, I always think of Trashy rolling in the fountain yelling, "Cebola ... my life for you!"

Great book! This and Salemīs lot are my favourites from Stephen King! Havenīt read any he has written since 1995, though. Too much to read and time is limited...

Yeah, have to keep that in mind! I just started to read Marcel Proustīs "Remembrance of thing past", so it takes a while...
