What's great about the new site is the reviews for the most part are much more informative (thanks Ned), and the section on the distilleries is nice. All in all I'd say it's now the most informative and detailed absinthe market on the web!

As a shipping note, apparently packages from Germany are taking more than double the amount of time to arrive they usually do, though packages are still arriving intact. Just received an order I placed 5 weeks ago, normal waiting time is 10 days or less. I don't care though, shit wasn't confiscated...

Um, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Marcus' site 'licks balls'. Most of the stuff listed is spelt wrong (no 'e'), it is listing by anise content, and worse yet, thu-groan content, and in virtually every other way, reads like any of your standard Czeckerland Filterated Czeckerland Xit sites.

Tactless or not, it's a valid observation. Markus is an honest seller, catering to a Pork Rib crazy market.

Corrections to some of the translations/grammar have been made, but they just haven't been updated on the site yet.

I like how it's re-organized though. Clicking on the "top quality" button gives you only distilled products so you don't have to wade through the usual Czeckerland and Spanish poo, and it's also nice Ned gave permission to have his reviews used...

I personally felt that saying the site 'licks balls' was not exactly a helpful or constructive criticism for an esteemed member of our board with whom many of us have had very successful business contacts over the years.

Criticism is fine. Abuse is not, at least where it is not deserved.

Can I say that Winston's lick's balls?

Peanut Butter sounds good. I looked in the bread box for some bread. What luck! There were two bread heels left. I looked in the refrigerator for jam or jelly, but unfortunately there was only some baking soda, a bag of rotten lettuce and an opened can of beer.

I decided to make a peanut butter sandwich. I took the two heels of bread from the bread bag. I noticed that one was smaller than the other. I spread the peanut butter onto the larger bread heel. I sat down next to my computer. I was completely naked, as usual. I logged into the internet as I took a bite. Some peanut butter fell into my lap. The next thing I noticed was Winston's Absinthe Buyer's Guide licking the peanut butter from my balls.

Markus has chosen sales over debunking thu-jone. This makes him fair game, just like Butty is. LdF manages to sell absinthe without playing the Pork Ribs game.
As an "esteemed member" of our board, he should be able to defend himself. The tone police are not for turning this into a PC discussion board, rather for guiding the new.

At least this is just one of several options to select the product you're looking for.... Simply forgive the newbies who are first asking these silly questions!
