It was right before X-mas, and his little brother (three years old at the time) found the body. At the funeral, his dad explained that his brother was "in a better place now, and that someday he'd see him again." This three year old kid stared him straight in the eye and said quite matter of factly, "No I won't. He's dead."
Talk about a fucked up situation. Believe it or not, this kid went on to become a quite stable and well adjusted adult (more than me anyway). Kids are capable of surviving the most screwed up things in life. Their resilience never ceases to amaze me.

I'm back, nominally, again. Was BACK in the hospital for a bit (fucking shitty place, but the nurses make it worthwhile, and the drugs. . . mmm).
Trying to see what passes for a good CO nowadays, since the HG has dried up so much.
Fudgeroll is looking promising I guess. I am so craving some Absinthe (been months until last night I finished off my MM28)
